I’m posting this as recently lots of my friends are either getting married or thinking of getting married. Sigh~

Oh, before you jump to any conclusion, this has no sexist element whatsoever in it. It is just plain frank and honest and some part true. In a way it is “sweet”.

WANTED: One wife for two or three days per week, may include one evening every now and then. Duties will include general straightening up after 22 year old single male, helping him shop for clothes, cooking, keeping his calendar, reminding him of proper etiquette, nagging, and generally keeping him from being a lazy bastard. Marital obligations not necessary but encouraged, so is use of French Maid outfit. Will definitely not be needed on Sundays during Fall and Winter. Bail money, if necessary, will be reimbursed. Compensation includes leftovers and the satisfaction of a job well done.

remember when I’ve told you that nowadays many medium have been used exploited for advertising?

this is GOOD!

They have use the famous“please stand behind the yellow line” thingy for a piece of “getting to the customer”.

for those who are still figuring what the hell is this, this is a MRT station where they promote wonder bra using the safety yellow line as advantage. Apparently, those who are wearing the wonder bra has to stand further back from the initial yellow line because their *ehem* is to enormous that it might been run over by the tram. lalalalal~ if you are still blur… then, pity you~

coupling IKEA and assignments

the near-ending of the APRIL’s-month-tension, have me found googling and surfing the net finding sources for my final assignments! .. yes, in this short period of time the skills of copying and pasting professionally or rather been called by my colleagues as paraphrasing, is been fully utilised in order to meet the deadlines. While the so called illegal-not-good-student’s-act or in short, plagiarsm are been done I came accross this pictures of IKEA’s campaign in Port Island as one of my assignments has something to do with IKEA.

IKEA’s has turned the monorail in Port Island as their showroom! what a brilliant idea. Everyday hundres of people are using the monorail to go to work and with this.. they really exposed themselves to the public. NICE. Just one thing though, if this is to be done in MALAYSIA…. just imagine what would happen to those “DISPLAYED FURNITURE”… I give them a week.. no no no …… 2 DAYS!

Yup, kertas tandas.. for sure korang fikir aku sudah ketandusan idea (lelaki-desperate-nak-post-blog-tapi-tiada-idea). Tapi hakikatnya, ini adalah antara post yang berisi. huhuhuhuhuhhuhuhu…..

OK. maybe idea nih bukan baru (kalau aku boleh terfikir, pasti mana-mana umat didunia dah terpikir idea ini). Iklan kertas tisu!

Idea datang dari Carrefour. kenape? sebab mereka letak iklan pada kertas resit. Kemudian terfikir, apa gunanya iklan?

menyampaikan mesej kepada pelanggan.

Ya, mesej kepada pelanggan. Hari ini, macam-macam medium telah digunakan untuk ‘menyampaikan mesej kepada pelanggan’ dari surat khabar, papan billboard, t-shirt hinggakan meja makan di restoran. Haa.. meja makan pon jadi mangsa iklan. Takmo cite pasal meja makan kali ni, kita nak cerita pasal kertas tisu!

Location, location, location

pergilah ke mana-mana kelas perniagaan, seminar dan talk. Perkara yang sama akan dibangkitkan. Yakni, tempat! untuk siap perniagaan tempat adalah penting. Ini termasuk iklan, ambil contoh billboard, ingat diorang letak suka-suka ke? mereka ade panel yang buat research untuk letak billboard di tempat yang sesuai. Kenape? to catch attention! menarik perhatian pelanggan! untuk ape? untuk sampaikan mesej laaa!

Dan tandas adalah antara salah satu tempat yang sesuai untuk catch attention… LOTS OF ATTENTION!

Secara purata, seseorang akan ke tandas 6 kali sehari.. diulangi! secara purata! maka kertas tisu akan jadi popular bukan? Maka jika kita aplikasikan iklan pada resit carrefour pada kertas tisu.. tidakkah cool? Bayangkan exposure yang bakal diterima jika tisu tersebut diletakkan pada shopping complex dan stadium (aaaa.. malaysia nyer stadium agak doubtfull.. heheh)…

Mudah, cuma gunakan kertas tisu biasa dan print guna ink-jet printer… lowcost advertisement with high impact! fikirkan… boleh buat promosi kupon lagi!

Aku tau kamu semua sedang fikirkan ini..

apa yang aku maksudkan adalah sedikit seperti ini…

ok ok… iklan tisu memang bagus, tapi kepada advertiser diluar sana, jika benar anda mengaplikasikan cara ini jangan melampau sudah~

*teeeet*teeet* (bunyi pesanan ringkas masuk), jam pukul 7.56 petang..

“Adi..muke kite masuk berita harian bahagian ekonomi..demn..muke aku buruk..haha“

pesanan yang aku terima dari partner-berjaya-ku hafriz. Lantas, dengan sepantas kilat aku menuju ke 7-eleven terdekat untuk mendapatkan senaskah Berita Harian, bukan selalu muka sendiri dapat masuk paper. Tetapi, apakan daya adik kecil pon tahu, mana nak cari Berita Harian senja-senja ni.. plus, dengan musim pilihan raya, sure semua paper mainstream dah habis di jual.

Tapi, perjuangan diteruskan beb! Mujur, di kawasan perumahan aku ade lebih dari satu 7-eleven ( aku pon tak paham macam mane jadi begitu). Maka aku melangkah dengan hampa ke 7-eleven satu lagi, hampa. Dua kedai sudahku tuju, Berita Harian tetap tak kunjung tiba. Oh, tapi tuhan sayangkan aku, on the way nak balik dengan perasaan sedih, terserempak dengan Berita Harian di NZ curry house.. haaa.. kedai mamak juga yang ada. Hilang kempunan.

Ya, kenapa aku kalut nak lihat muka sendiri di akhbar tempatan? dan kenapa pula akhbar tempat teringin nak pampang wajahku? Ini semua kerna 4 march yang lalu. Ceritanya panjang. Pendekkan, kami menang! Pertanding MSC-IHL (Koridor Raya Multimedia – Institut Pengajian Tinggi). Maka tunggu saja, penampilan usahawan muda kalian.

dan ya, aku suka menunjuk! boleh juga melayari laman web berita harian untuk liputan sahih.

micro$oft, the multi billion dollar organization which famous with its “no-money-no-expertise” (i made this myself) has announced a rather shocking press release this week. “WE ARE GOING OPEN-SOURCE!” yes thats what the press release generally say (or rather what I understood and other billions of people are). People, we are going to get free micro$oft software after this. Is this for real?

So is this mean, the war between big corporation and open source community has nearly to an end? with micro$oft waiving the white flag? well, let’s just wait and see. maybe after this i can get vista for free and full version of micro$oft office corporate edition. uh uh uh … then again, why should i bother. there is always “pirates” who are willing to do all the “monkey-jobs” to a make a better world.
